In April of 2018 we sold our house of 20 years. My wife and I were trying to decide between a house and a condo. We rented an apartment and looked for over a year for our next home on our own. We thought that by working with the listing agent we could negotiate a good deal. Our experiences with those other realtors was unsatisfying. I knew Patti thru Pickleball. Finally, after a year of looking on our own, I asked Patti if she would show us this one condo. I told her there was a low probability of a transaction, but she cheerfully showed us 5 or 6 properties in the neighborhood and price range we were looking. They were condos. In addition to showing us the properties she had a small dossier on each property. We were Impressed.
Patti took us back a couple of times to 2 properties, worked with us on the pros and cons, and helped us negotiate. Within 35 days we had the condo we wanted. Patti made it easy. I will use her again if needed, but this is a perfect place for us!

A week or two ago, I was supposed to move down to St Petersburg, with absolutely no knowledge of the area. This was my first experience living away from home, so I had no idea what to expect, or really even how to proceed with procuring a lease. I was put in touch with Northstar Realty (specifically Georgia Naruns) and explained what I was looking for. Not only did Georgia put together a substantial portfolio for me, she also spent an entire day driving around with me, walking me through each property and explaining the pros and cons of each in terms I, as a real-estate newbie, could understand. Ultimately, I decided to go with a property that would not be under the jurisdiction of Northstar, but instead of giving up on me, she even helped negotiate with another real estate agency on my behalf (which was wonderful, considering how the other real estate agency was extremely difficult to deal with and seemingly unwilling to work out a deal). On the one or two occasions that Georgia was seeing to other business, the rest of the Northstar staff were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful, picking up directly where Georgia left off and looking out for my best interests as well. To wrap up, I'd gladly recommend Northstar to anybody needing any real estate service whatsoever. You'll be glad you did.
